​Cedar is the premium wood for fence installations. Cedar is highly durable; it’s weather, insect, and rot resistant. A Cedar fence can last from 15-30 years with proper-care(Stained). The cost of a Cedar fence is a bit pricer than Spruce or Pine, but if your budget is flexible, you cannot go wrong with Cedar.

Vinyl fence is becoming a popular choice for many home owners. Vinyl is a durable material with lots of customizable options; It is also low maintenance. The start up cost for a Vinyl fence is similar to a premium wood fence(Cedar). Vinyl comes in an array of colors and design that can compliment any home.

Iron(wrought) fence installs have the highest startup cost. Their luxurious design offers durability and zero maintenance. They're not ideal for privacy, but they prevent unwanted surprises.
